Dr. Cathy Lebo

Associate Provost and Director of Institutional Planning and Research

Associate Provost and Director of Institutional Planning and Research, and University Data Administrator, University of Florida. 

Dr. Lebo has 31 years experience managing institutional research and planning at leading public and private universities.  She led the AAU Data Exchange council.  She served on the AIR Higher Education Data Policy Committee and the Common Data Set Advisory Committee.   She also served on key national advisory committees including the Delaware Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity, the NSF Higher Education Research and Development survey (HERD), the IPEDS Technical Review Panel for Race/Ethnicity Standards, and the IPEDS Technical Review Panel for Unit Record Systems.  Her research on “Selective Excellence in Doctoral Programs: Targeting Analytics to Best Use” was presented at the National Research Council convocation on Assessing Research-Doctorate Programs.  Dr. Lebo received her Ph.D. in Anthropology/Archaeology from Indiana University.
