Associate Provost for Undergraduate Affairs
Angela S. Lindner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. Dr. Lindner earned a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, her MS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and her BS in Chemistry from the College of Charleston.
Dr. Lindner served as Associate Dean of Student Affairs in UF’s College of Engineering from 2008-2015 and started her career at UF in 1998 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering Sciences. Prior to joining the faculty at UF, Dr. Lindner worked in industry at General Motors and for the federal government at the US Environmental Protection Agency. As Associate Dean in the College of Engineering, Dr. Lindner was responsible for oversight of the college admission and certification processes, developing and implementing effective academic advising and counseling for approximately 6,500 engineering students, administering undergraduate curricular and assessment programs, as well as K-12 outreach and undergraduate co-curricular programs to name a few. Her experience in student retention, diversity, enrollment, and experiential has provided a foundation for success in the Office of Undergraduate Affairs, where she began the role as Associate Provost in September 2015.
Dr. Lindner encourages a student-centered approach in her leadership at UF and firmly believes in the critical balance between curricular and co-curricular experiences to achieve a complete undergraduate education.

Ms. Leslie McKenna
Administrative Specialist III
Administrative Specialist III for the Office of Undergraduate Affairs, assists with all matters involving the overall operation of the office including fiscal operations for the office and the reporting units, and managing various scholarships. She maintains the calendar for the associate provost, coordinates all travel, ensures materials needed for meetings are readily available, and prepares draft correspondence or other related materials as needed.

Dr. Jason Mastrogiovanni
Assistant Provost for Student Success
Jason Mastrogiovanni serves as the first Assistant Provost for Student Success. He earned a BM in Music Education from the University of Florida, an MS in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University, and a PhD in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to coming back to UF, he worked at the University of Tennessee, Stony Brook University, Central Connecticut State University, and most recently Texas A&M University in various student success related roles. As a first-generation student himself, he is a passionate advocate for supporting students in large complex university environments. He has published several articles and presented nationally on student success, design thinking, and collaboration in higher education. He also serves as the current editor for the Journal of College Orientation, Transition, and Retention.

Mr. Casey Griffith
Assistant Director of Curriculum and Academic Policy
Mr. Casey Griffith is the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Academic Policy for the Office of Undergraduate Affairs. He was a three year letterman at the University of Florida where he received a B.A. in Political Science and his M.Ed in Social Sciences. Mr. Griffith received his Ed.S. in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Florida State University. He coordinates matters related to the Approval Tracking System, General Education Committee, and University Curriculum Committee. He also assists in the analysis, coordination, and implementation of projects related to the development, approval, implementation, and operation of degree programs throughout the University of Florida.

Dr. Tobin Shorey
Director, Curriculum Monitoring and Analysis
Tobin Shorey is the Director of Curriculum Monitoring and Analysis at the University of Florida. He received his Ph.D. in History from UF in 2014. He works with colleges, departments, the University Curriculum Committee, and the Academic Assessment Committee to align academic requirements in the UF undergraduate catalog and degree audits with current curriculum and assessment policies. He also provides training for university faculty and staff that use or modify degree audits. In his previous position at the Office of the University Registrar, Dr. Shorey supervised course development, room scheduling, registration, and degree certification for the university. He has also worked with Preview staff and advisors to modify systems and procedures for incoming student orientation.

Ms. Corrin Fleming
Academic Programs Specialist
Corrin Fleming is the Academic Programs Specialist for the Office of Undergraduate Affairs. She received her B.A. in French from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2014 and her M.A. in French at the University of Florida in 2018. She works with departments, colleges, and the University Curriculum Committee to build and maintain curricula in the university catalog and the Student Information System. She also works with faculty and staff to answer questions, provide training, solve problems, improve degree audits, and facilitate processing of Universal Tracking and Excess Hours policies. Before joining the OUA team, Corrin worked on the Records and Degrees team in the Registrar’s Office, where she processed dual degrees and minors, helped with degree certification, and processed diplomas.
