Associate Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs
Chris J. Hass is a Professor of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in the College of Health and Human Performance and affiliate faculty in the Fixel Center for Neurological Diseases. He is a graduate of the University of Florida (M.S. and Ph.D.) and prior to returning to UF in 2006, he held academic positions at Columbia University and Georgia Institute of Technology. He has taught courses in biomechanics, neuroscience, research methods and motor control. Hass’s research focuses on understanding the complex interplay between the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system during whole body movements such as walking and standing balance. Most of his work has strong clinical relevance with particular emphasis on movement disorders. He has held leadership positions in the American Society of Biomechanics and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Administrative Specialist
Ms. Bagley, Administrative Specialist, manages all matters related to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs office. She is the liaison for any matters concerning the Tuition Exchange Program (TEP) for the University of Florida. Ms. Bagley is the contact for the associate provost's calendar, and for materials to meetings and events scheduled by the associate provost’s office. She also coordinates all travel activities for the associate provost and preparation for any related draft correspondence and conference information.
