OAAC

Mission Statement

Support the university by partnering with faculty and administrators to update curriculum and academic policies, facilitating continuous improvement of student learning across all levels of the university.

About the Office of Accreditation, Assessment, and Curriculum

The Office of Accreditation, Assessment, and Curriculum (OAAC) supports a transparent and efficient process in curriculum and assessment, collaborating with faculty to successfully develop curriculum and assess student learning outcomes at the University of Florida (UF).

At UF, student achievement is a top priority as we strive to enhance outcomes for all learners. Faculty design and assess the curriculum to continually improve student learning, and OAAC focuses on best educational practices while reducing administrative burden.  OAAC collects changes in regulations and directives regarding curriculum and assessment and implements those through standards of the faculty curriculum committees in the shared governance process at UF.

Shared governance at UF ensures collaborative decision-making between faculty and administrators. Faculty lead curriculum development and assessment to drive continuous improvement, while administration supports a transparent, efficient process that fosters trust and reduces administrative burden.
